The throat opening on 1-inch [2.54 cm] and 2-inch [5.08 cm] Montana Flumes are too small to reliably pass sanitary solds and will almost certainly block and become a source of ongoing maintenance / erroneous flow readings.
The minimum recommended Montana Flume throat width for use on sanitary flow is 3-inches [7.62 cm].
