Stainless Steel Trapezoidal Flume Measuring Brackish Water
Description
A stainless steel Trapezoidal Flume used to measure the flow of brackish water in a marsh. Stainless steel was chosen as the material of construction due to its ruggedness and resistance to the corrosive effects of brackish water. The flume is provided with a staff gauge on the right and a probe well on the left - into which a pressure transducer has been installed to measure and record the water level (and thus flow) in the flume.
