I need to measure water in a pipe that isn’t full
Flumes
A flume is a static, engineered structure used to measure the flow of water with no moving parts. Flumes can be used in ditches, canals, troughs, and pipes that don’t run full. Install a flume when you're looking for a permanent solution that reliably measures water without the complexity of adjustment, calibration, or moving parts.
Manholes
Fiberglass Manholes provide factory integrated access to underground water or wastewater piping. They are watertight, corrosion resistant, easy to install, and can be used to measure flow, collect samples, control flow, and remove debris or contaminants.
Weirs
A weir is a barrier over which water flows in a controlled way, making it simple to measure flow. Weirs can be used in natural channels, on industrial discharges, and in line with pipes that don’t run full. If you’re looking for an inexpensive way to get accurate measurements on clean flows, a weir can be an excellent choice.
Gauges
Like a tape measure, staff (or head) gauges are used to show the depth of water in tanks, locks, flumes, weirs, streams, and rivers. Available in a range of materials and mounting configurations, they can handle the extreme conditions of wastewater treatment plants and saline environments.
