Perforated Flow Conditioning Plate in an H Flume Approach Section

A perforated flow conditioning plate mounted in the approach section of a fiberglass H Flume.
Approach sections are a way of conditioning flow before it enters a H Flume. They serve as a great place to install additional flow conditioning structures, mount water quality parameter probes, and more.
Perforated plates should not, however, be used where screenable solids are in the flow stream.
