Shelter Accessories

Quick Links

Fiberglass Shelters can be customized with pre-integrated equipment and features to protect your investment while providing complete, walk-in access.

Eash Shelter starts with a standard, outward-opening 3068 door (3-feet, 0-inches wide, and 6-feet, 8-inches high). Where greater access is needed, wider doors are also available.

For even more access, double doors and roll-up / roll-back doors are also available.

Customize your access further with door vents and windows, intrusion alarms, and much more.

Standard electrical equipment includes:

  • 12 gauge THHN wiring in rigid Schedule 40 PVC conduit.
  • NEMA 1 metallic 125 A main lug load center.
  • Duplex 20 A GFCI outlet with in-use weather cover.
  • Exterior duplex switches for independent control of interior light and fan.

Each of these can be customized to meet your needs or ordered as multiples.

Standard HVAC equipment for Shelters is a mix of active and passive ventilation, including:

  • 1-inch [2.54 cm] (R~7) insulation.
  • 10-inch [25.4 cm] exhaust fan with screened hood.
  • 1,500-watt heater with thermostat.
  • 10-inch x 10-inch [25.4 x 25.4 cm] fiberglass intake shutter with screened hood.

Both active and passive ventilation features can be customized or replaced with a hybrid ventilation option.

To keep costs down and to prevent wind overturn, most Shelters are mounted directly to a concrete slab — where the slab acts as the floor. And while that works for most installations, there are times when a floor is needed. We offer a range of floor options, including:

  • Reinforced floors.
  • Insulated floors.
  • Non-skid, diamond plate floors.
  • Spill-containment floors, with or without grating.
  • Steel base skids.

Interior LED lighting is standard for Shelters. We can add emergency, exit, and even exterior lights for operator safety and security. If no electrical service is available at your site, skylights can provide natural interior light.
