Grinder Manholes

Quick Links

Grinder Manholes keep sewage flow moving smoothly by integrating your grinder / rail system with a fiberglass manhole tube and cover.

Especially when paired with a downstream Packaged Metering Manhole (PMM), fiberglass Grinder Manholes are a cost-effective and low-maintenance solution. In addition to being corrosion resistant, Grinder Manholes work hard to keep you lines up and running.

Grinder Manholes are available in diameters from 48- to 96-inches [1.22 to 2.44 m] and depths up to 35-feet [10.7 m].

Openchannelflow has experience integrating grinders from:

  • Franklin Miller.
  • Vogelsang.
  • JWC Environmental.

Installation is as simple as dig it, drop it, done.

Flanged Grinder Manholes are available for applications with closed pipes.

Choose to have a grinder channel integrated with the manhole or mount your grinder rails inside.

Depending on the depth of a manhole, seeing inside can be a challenge. Grinder Manhole tubes are smooth inside and a light tan color to help maximize visibility.

Suit your site needs by selecting from a variety of top styles:

  • Domed Fiberglass, the most popular choice, is commonly used for grassy pedestrian areas.
  • H-20 Traffic Reducers for areas with traffic, like parking lots, loading docks, and warehouse floors.

Make the most of Grinder Manholes with a variety of accessories that help with air circulation, depth adjustments, and more.
