Flume Enclosures
Flume Enclosures make it possible to safeguard above-ground flumes like those used for industrial effluents and green roof runoffs. Flow-measuring flumes are factory integrated in fiberglass enclosures.
The Redstone line of Flume Enclosures provide affordable protection, plus top-access doors with gas struts for excellent operator access. Flume Enclosures offer:
- Restricted access to equipment.
- Reduced risk of an accidental shift in flow meter position.
- Easy, clean installation that requires little site preparation.
Factory integrated Flume Enclosures are only available for certain sizes and types and flumes due to size limitations.
Openchanneflow can integrate:
- Cutthroat Flumes
- 18-inch long styles.
- HS Flumes
- 0.4-, 0.6-, and 0.8-foot.
- H Flumes
- 0.5- and 0.75- foot.
- Parshall Flumes
- 1- to 3-inch.
- Palmer Bowlus Flumes
- 4- to 12-inch.
- Trapezoidal Flumes
- Small, Large, and Extra Large sizes.
For other sizes or types, Openchannelflow can design a custom Flume Enclosure to meet your specifications.
When you have an energetic flow upstream of a Flume Enclosure, you might add tranquilizing structures. Openchannelflow provides components from Energy Absorbing Manholes to help ensure accurate flow measurements.
