A Parshall Flume Measuring Steamy Flow in a Manhole

Description

A fiberglass Parshall Flume measuring industrial discharge in a manhole.  The temperature of the discharge is enough to allow steam to form as it goes through the flume.

Stream can be particularly troublesome when using an ultrasonic flow meter as the acoustic signal is temperature compensated and condensation can form on the underside of the sensor's face.  Both issues can lead to erroneous readings.
